Heights of Abraham

A hugely popular tourist attraction, the Heights of Abraham is a hilltop country park and caverns set in 60 acres of woodland, reached by cable car travelling over a deep limestone gorge. You’ll also find museums, heritage walks and an adventure playground for the kids! (30 minutes from Ashbourne Heights)

Gulliver’s Kingdom

Specially designed for families with children aged 2-13, Gulliver’s Kingdom boasts a wide range of rides and attractions, from the Western World and Pirates Play Area to the log flume and Drop Tower. As you would expect, there are plenty of dining options available at this theme park so you can make a day out of your trip there (30 minutes from Ashbourne Heights).

Poole’s Cavern

Journey beneath the earth with expert guides and explore the vast limestone caverns under the Peak District. Learn how the crystal stalactites and stalagmites were formed millions of years ago. This spectacular network of caves and caverns is extremely impressive. Above ground enjoy a walk to Grin Low and Solomon’s Temple, with super views out over the countryside. Crich Tramway Village – Home of the National Tramway Museum

Take a step back in time and ride on the vintage trams through a unique period street at the Crich Tramway Village. Head out into the open countryside aboard one of the many different vintage trams and enjoy spectacular views. Chatsworth House

Home to the Duke of Devonshire, Chatsworth House is one of the most popular period properties in the UK and it is home to one of Europe’s most significant art collections.
