What's included in your holiday?

In your holiday home, you'll have free gas & electricity, bed linen and your beds will be made up ready for your arrival. If you have booked through a newspaper promotion, the above will only be included in your holiday if you have purchased entertainment passes and linen.

Can I bring a pet?

We welcome well-trained dogs in our pet-friendly accommodation range at a charge of £40.00 per dog, per week and £20.00 per short break. A maximum of two dogs are allowed. However, we do not allow any dogs specified in the dangerous dog act: Pit-bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and Japanese Tosa. Can I hire a cot or high chair?

Cots & high chairs are available to hire at the time of booking. There will be a supplement of £12 per item, per week or £7 per short break. Please note that you will need to bring your own cot linen and mattress.

Are there any restrictions on who can book?

Minimum age: We are unable to accept bookings from anyone under the age of 21. Other restrictions: We cater primarily for family holidays. Bookings from all female or all male parties will only be accepted at our absolute discretion, and we reserve the right to cancel a booking that does not meet this condition.

Do you accept group bookings?

If you would like to make a large group booking, please call the Park directly on 01335 350 228.

When do I need to pay for the holiday?

Depending on when you make the booking, you will either need to pay a deposit or the full amount. For holidays booked more than 10 weeks from the holiday start date, a deposit is payable, if the booking is within 10 weeks of the holiday start date you will need to pay the full balance to secure the booking. When will I receive my booking confirmation?

You will receive a booking confirmation by email within an hour of booking. If your booking confirmation does not reach you please contact guest services on 01335 350 228.

Where can I find my booking reference number?

Your exclusive booking reference number can be found on the confirmation email we sent you.

Can I make changes to my booking?

In most cases it is possible to change your booking, a small admin fee will apply to do this. If you would like to change your holiday dates you will need to pay the difference in cost if the new dates are more expensive. Please call guest services on 01335 350 228 for more information

Can I cancel my holiday?

When making a booking you will be offered the option to take out our cancellation protection plan which covers you and your holiday party. Our different types of plans covers you until you arrive on site. Details of our cancellation plan and policy can be found by clicking the link below. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given if for any reasons you decide to leave early. View our cancellation plans

Am I able to upgrade my accommodation?

Whether you need an extra bedroom, more space or want a higher grade of accommodation, we are always happy to look at the options for you. Please be sure to let us know your booking reference number and the grade of accommodation that you would like to upgrade into and we'll be able to check prices and availability for you.

Where will my accommodation be on the park?

Your accommodation will be allocated a few days before your arrival and you will be given the location of your accommodation when you check in. We won't be able to let you know where you will be allocated on the park before you check in, this is just in case there are any last minute re-locations made by the park.

What do I need to bring with me?

Your accommodation will have pillows, duvets and bed linen. Beds will all be made up ready for your arrival. If you've booked through a newspaper promotion, you will need have purchased the linen supplement to have bed linen and beds made up. We do also supply towels & dishwashing materials. Irons aren't always available so we recommend, if you require an iron, to bring your own.

What is included in the optional welcome pack?

The essential pack (£12) includes toilet roll, washing up liquid, bin bags, cloth, sponge, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The breakfast pack (£14) includes tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread, butter, jam and biscuits. View our Welcome Packs

What are your check in and departure times?

The check-in time is 4.00pm for Holiday Homes/Lodges and 2.00pm for Tenting & Touring. Guests arriving early are welcome to check in and enjoy the Park facilities until their accommodation is ready. Reception is open until 5pm Sun-Thurs, 7pm on Friday’s and 6pm on Saturday’s. If you are due to arrive after this time, please let the park know so that they can advise you on checking in and collection of keys. You will need to vacate your accommodation by 10.00am and touring pitch by 12pm on your day of departure.

How many cars can we bring?

All booking prices include 1 car only, any extra cars will be charged at £10 per car per break. Parking is available next to or nearby your holiday home or touring pitch.

How do we find directions to the park?

Ashbourne Heights is a breeze to find, but it pays to plan your route in advance. A map, directions and our address can be found by clicking the link below. If you’re going to use sat nav, please use postcode DE6 1LE. View directions

What do I need to show at arrival in reception?

You will need to show your booking confirmation to check in at reception or if you are unable to print the confirmation please bring ID and your reference number.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Wi-Fi i is available to purchase throughout the park.

Where's the nearest shop?

We have an onsite convenience shop and there are larger supermarkets and shops located nearby in Ashbourne town such as M&S food, Waitrose and Sainsburys.

Is the swimming pool free to use?

Use of the indoor swimming pool is free to use during your stay if you are staying in a holiday home. There is a £3.00 charge for adults and £2.00 charge for children to use the swimming pool if you are a touring or tenting customer. Please note that sessions are available to book at guest services.

How do you access the Tissington Trail?

Direct access to the popular Tissington Trail sits at the entrance to the park and is enjoyed by those who love walking and cyclists. With 13 miles of traffic-free trail which follows the former Buxton to Ashbourne railway. There's lots of picnic areas along the way too.

Can we use our BBQ on the park?

Yes you can. All BBQ’s need to be off the ground, using the BBQ slabs provided by the park. We don’t allow open fires, but do accept fire pits with a lid, if they are also off the ground.
