Easter. It’s all about the chocolate, right? Just how many Easter eggs can you (or your kids) eat in one day without rotting your teeth?
Actually, there is more to this time of year than chocolate eggs, as good as they are… It’s also a great time of year to visit the Peak District. With the temperature rising and the days getting longer it’s a popular time for breaks away to Derbyshire, with lots to see and do.

Discover the beautiful Peak District this Easter
An area of great diversity and outstanding natural beauty, the Peak District National Park covers a vast landscape of some 555 square miles. If you love walking, cycling or hiking, there are few better places to visit.
The popular Tissington Trail also sits at the entrance to our park, so you can get on your bike an explore this 13-mile traffic-free trail which follows the former Buxton to Ashbourne railway. Local attractions include the famous Alton Towers Theme Park and Heights of Abraham while nearby towns of Ashbourne, Tideswell and Bakewell are certainly worth a visit.

Our holiday lodges are spacious, modern and warm and are finished to a high standard, sleeping between 4 & 6 people. They’re packed with plenty of home comforts including a TV with Freeview, DVD player, veranda and garden furniture.
Our 2 and 3 bedroom caravan holiday homes are a new addition to our park and have proved a popular choice. Sleeping 6-8 people, each caravan has plenty of space, separate bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and shower room, plus double-glazing and heating to keep you cosy.
For those seeking something different, our new safari lodges and luxurious glamping pod is definitely worth a look! It has comfy beds and seating, toilet, hot shower and a small kitchen area to make self-catering easy.
